Artwork description

El paisaje de Viñales es el más representado de Pinar del Río por sus mogotes boleados. La pieza hace referencia al domingo y es entre otras piezas mi homenaje al pintor Domingo Ramos (1894 -1956), que inmortalizo con sus colores la región. La pieza contrasta aquella luz impresionista fomentando la añoranza por la natural que se pierde.

Uriarte is an architect and artist. Born in Pinar del Ro, Cuba in 1957. His work is conceptualized from the fragile-identity, ranging from landscape painting, digital art, architecture, landscape design, and includes research, receiving awards for his work on the landscape cohesive .
