I found a small doll\'s dress in a mud puddle. It was in the middle of the road, and was flattened because it had been run over. I peeled it off the ground, took it home, and washed it. Then I made a small metal hanger for it out of wire. I hung it on the wall, and made a painting of it. I was drawn to the subject because it represented a fall from grace. It used to be a precious item that was loved by a child. But it got dirty and squashed. I revived it, though, and gave it a new life. I can relate to this.
