El Pitón, espíritu de Mercurio, transformado en un duende dragón. Llamado joven cuaterno. Representando arriba a la Luna húmeda y moderada, en medio el Sol candente, después el conjunto del Sol, la Luna en Tauro, la casa de Venus, incorporando al Pelícano que con el movimiento de su cabeza forma el cero, que significa el infinito; juntos forman Mercurio, que es todas las cosas y su antítesis; el principio y el extremo, Alfa y Omega en la Ciencia, la materia primera y la piedra de los filósofos. Como símbolo de la dualidad, Mercurio es la extensión infinita de todo y nada, el negro y el blanco, el universo en sí mismo. Constituye las cuatro tríades del alma; las cuatro estaciones y la vida del hombre.

My name: Maugdo Vasquez, was born on June 14 1,959 in the capital city of Guatemala. Having been born to peasant parents, seven years he traveled to live Moyuta municipality in the department of Jutiapa. The countryside, horses, cows, cuts coffee and corn tapisca accompanied me in my growth. Since that time I started to feel a deep concern for art.
