This work is inspired by a mythical character such as the Geishas, in that identity confused by the qualifications assigned to it, hence the interpretation that I made of her face without identity only focusing on the white makeup that gives her that coldness on her face , that silence, that secret
The works are realized applying a mixed technique and col.lage, on a base of canvas or wood.
The viewer wants me to feel that cold expression of the character. that uncertain identity that creates doubt.
I have chosen to make the GEISHA series because I am very interested in that character, and I am inspired by the attire that uses its color and that I try to capture with the textures and col.lage.
My first experience was in primary school, I remember in the drawing subject where we drew the sheets in black and white with coal mines, it was from there that I started drawing on the living room table, it was my study. One of my messages is the characteristic of not defining the identity of my characters, I only work on the characteristic, then the viewer can imagine.
