Artwork description

The Aztecs had a very special relationship with death, which they considers a new life. They believed that there were 3 places for the dead.The brave warrior who died in combat, were chosen to be in the sun for 4 year , and after they became birds of beautiful plumage returning to earth. The other place called TLALOCAN was for those who died of serious illness, was the place of delights: abundant water and corn.Third place, call MICTLAN was a cave, was a place of penance, and to get there, had to cross a long road full of dangers.
