Esta obra me ha impactado muchísimo por su sencillez y por esa melancolía tan sublime que sólo un artista como Watts supo plasmar... y como dice un viejo refrán "quien tanto admira e imita lo admirado, rinde el más grande homenaje" es pues un homenaje a uno de mis pintores simbolistas favoritos George Frederick Watts, la técnica en que lo he realizado esta versión es pastel sobre cartón enlonado para lograr ciertos efectos.. Bienvenidas sean sus críticas!!

Artist information

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia on 04 October 1975. Began his basic studies in the 1987 painting "School of the Arts" in that city. However, after moving to Venezuela in 1990 and in 1992 entered the workshop of Maestro Marco Ranfagni, former restaurateur Uffizi Museum (Florence - Italy) From 1995 to 1999, courses in various free workshops offered by the School of Visual Arts "Rafael Monasteries" of the city of Maracay.
