Artwork description

Obra inspirada en el drastico cambio del paisaje en chiloé en el sur de chile, en donde las boyas de cultivo de mejillones han ido desplazando iconos del paisaje como los palafitos, construcciones tipicas de la isla.
Tambien estos cultivos vienen a perpetuar situaciones de pobreza debido a las malas practicas de las empresas en general con respecto a leyes laborales, salarios, medioambiente y la precaria capacitación con que cuentan los trabajadores .

Artist information

Mauro was born in Santiago de Chile on July 14, 1966. Has 20 years experience as a painter, studying, researching and teach the trade. Has developed extensive experience in graphic design, which has enriched the design, creation and mantencin of web pages, as webmaster. Also, in the field of theater, film and television, it has played in the creation of set designers, and fictitious corpreos as artistic director.
