Artwork description

Este Maguey lo pinte especialmente para mis amigos Margaret y Ken, a quienes conocí hace solo 5 meses y con quienes pude compartir diariamente en el trabajo y aprender de ellos muchas cosas.
Además hubo algo que nos acerco aun más y fue el haber vivido juntos la dura experiencia del terremoto de Febrero aca en Christchurch donde ellos perdieron a un ser querido. Con mucho cariño y aprecio me los llevo en mi corazón.

Artist information

Originally from Colombia. Naturalized Mexican. I studied Special Education at the University of Costa Rica and began drawing and modeling studies in 1981 in the artist\'s home in San Jose, Costa Rica. It took many years and only until the end of 2006 , I decided to spend time learning to paint and now it has become an important and exciting part of my life. Start weaving my own dreams ....
