Dice Wang Chung: "La crisálida procede a la cigarra,sólo cambia de aspecto y se transforma en cigarra. Cuando el alma abandona el cuerpo, se asemeja a unacigarra que sale de la crisálida para trasormarse en insecto."
Según Schneider el papel íistico de la transformación implica otras cosas: el qeuilibrio,la regeneración y el valor guerrero.
