MARIA AZUCENA ABANSÉS was born in Zaragoza, Spain. She studied artistic drawing in Caracas, Venezuela, at the Escuela de Retrato Galeandro, and oil painting with the renowned landsdape painter Miquel Renom, also at the Escuela de Artes Visuales Cristobal Rojas. Later, attracted by sculpture, she attended the Taller Escuela Arte y Fuego with the famous Professor Cándido Millan, where she got a master in modeling clay, stoneware and porcelain. She has always been devoted to artistic drawing,
