Artist information

José Pión is a self-taught artist. He studied advertisement and marketing at University Acción Pro Educación y Cultara (APEC) in Santo Domingo(2008), where he currently lives and works. He received an award at the 24th National Biennial in the Dominican Republic with a sound performance, the first time such a category received an award in national competition (2007).
