Estudio en lápices de grafito de la obra de Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, obra que realizó en los inicios de su fama, en un estilo muy al gusto de la época, el éxito del cuadro le ayudo a subir muchos escalones. Esta circunstancia le permitió desarrollar con más libertad el estilo de obra que deseaba hacer, fuera ya del tenebrismo imperante, lo cual fue muy celebrado y lo encumbró a la gloria de los genios.
