"Soneto al silencio cautivo"
Sentado en un cantil de mi amado mar
el horizonte se va despidiendo
los ojos se cierran... se van durmiendo,
un nuevo día se inventa para amar.
A tu crepúsculo me quise asomar
hacia él poco a poco me fui yendo
y en mágico espejismo descubriendo
lágrimas que allí soñaba derramar.
Mañana vendrá con su nueva aurora
con su ramo de esperanza prendido
deja que te toque, que te sientas vivo.
Es un instante un beso dado al oído,
la señal que el alma cansada implora,
la respuesta a tu silencio cautivo.
