This oil painting depicts the captivating scene of African wilderness with two majestic royal cranes. These elegant birds are depicted in rich detail, with their distinctive black bodies, white wing patches and the striking yellow crowns of feathers on their heads. The background is dominated by a clear blue sky interspersed with soft white clouds. The contrast between the rich blue of the sky and the vibrant green of the savannah creates a harmonious and lively colour palette. Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
