Petr Lukyanenko is a contemporary Belarusian artist working in various genres of easel painting. The central place in his art is taken by conceptual and publicistic works. Paintings were presented at many solo and joint exhibitions including museum shows.
Publicistic paintings of the Soviet time show deep contrast between the official state ideology and the real life. In latest works the artist comprehends dramatic changes happening in post-communist countries since 90-s.
