Armando "scrubbing" Ruiz was born in Mexico City in 1970 became interested in art activities at an early age, despite not having been born in Oaxaca its influence is undeniable, his family is in the mountains north of the state and like any family Oaxaca has always been connected to this area although much of their live life in the state of Mexico.
Now resides in Oaxaca City where she teaches art in its own workshop.
