Una antigua calle empedrada, la luz de un farol y a lo lejos otra casa iluminada, son el marco de una pareja que baila el tango, otra más adelante, de la cual solo se ve la sombra proyectada, (recurso muy usado junto con los reflejos) por esta artista. Un músico con su bandoneón toca la música. La composición es original por sus cortes de figuras, mostrando solo los elementos esenciales y símbólicos del tango.Colores muy saturados y contrastes de luz y sombras ( claros y oscuros) se convierten en recursos plásticos de importancia para transmitir el clima ritual del tango.
