This oil painting shows a fascinating depiction of the Eagle Nebula. The picture radiates a mysterious and ethereal atmosphere. Yellow and grey tones predominate, interspersed with delicate shades of blue, green and pink. Numerous small white dots, representing stars, are scattered throughout the structure. These bright speckles lend the picture depth and reinforce the impression of a vast, star-filled space. The brushstrokes are clearly visible and lend the cosmic scene a tangible, almost organic quality. The use of light and shadow creates a three-dimensional effect that reinforces the illusion of movement and depth in space. The dark background surrounding the glowing nebulae enhances the contrast and makes the colours and shapes stand out even more intensely. This creates a dramatic effect and emphasises the vastness and mystery of the universe.
Born 1967 in Zurich, Switzerland, first exhibition 2003, in 2006 I began to paint oil colour on velvet. I like to play with the structure from the velvet. There is a special effect on the painting with velvet.
