This work of art is the result of working long hours to get to the point where I, as an artist, could express all the fragility and tenderness of a new-born baby in oils. This is one of my favourites portraits of my own child Rochi.
Born in 1978 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Juan Alejandro Karakas, son of Armenian immigrants, started his career out of curiosity. It was his overwhelming drive to want to learn to express their feelings and emotions that led him to dabble in the art of painting.
A meticulous personality with a touch sensitive, detailed and reminiscent of a youth unexplored Juan Alejandro makes a fine example in the future artists of the hyper-realism Argentina. This is your future in art Argentine...
