Eivar Moya nació en Valledupar, Cesar, Colombia, en 1970. Desde 1987 hasta 1991 asistió al Maestro en Artes plasticas, la Escuela de Bellas Artes, y la Universidad del Atlántico en Barranquilla.



La obra del maestro. Moya presenta le experiencia de un pintor joven, nuevo, en donde se observan los síntomas claros del talento plástico y de la lucha en la búsqueda de la expresión. Desde el principio su intención a sido la de mostrar el cuerpo humano al desnudo.
