Seguramente se preguntarán qué son los bombos.Pues bien,se trata de una especie de chamizo o choza con forma redondeada,que sirve para usos muy diversos,tanto como su propietario desee y forma parte de varios paisajes manchegos.Con esta serie,de la que les mostraremos algunas de las pinturas más representativas,deseamos hacerles partícipes de la visión que el autor tiene sobre el entorno que le rodea.Disfruten de la contemplación de estas obras,tanto como lo hicimos nosotros.

Artist information

Born in the town of Manchego Torre de Juan Abad (Ciudad Real) in 1941. Since his childhood, Mariano was attracted by the painting. At age 11 he moved with his family at Viso del Marqués, where he meets his art teacher who was a copyist for years, in the Museo del Prado in Madrid. This teacher instilled in him the love of painting and the aesthetic sense Mariano eventually usher in his works throughout his long career as a painter.
