Pico Oriental, es uno de los que conforman El Ávila, montaña icónica para los Venezolanos. En 1958 fue nombrado Parque Nacional, los pobladores de Caracas le tienen varios sobrenombres, así pues es llamada el pulmón de la ciudad, la sultana de Caracas. Su nombre indígena es Waraira Repano.
