Gouache sobre cartón, 20 por 20 cms. Me fascina el arte naif haitiano, las pinturas de mercados y labores en el campo con ese sentido del ritmo compositivo tan característico y que se comercializa también en Santo Domingo. Esta pequeña pintura abstracta fué pintada una semana antes del terremoto y fué titulada así porque me recordó esas pinturas tropicales de Haití que tanto me gustan. Ojalá que sus gentes se repongan pronto del terrible desastre que les azotó y que se vuelva a recuperar el museo de arte haitiano que quedó destruido en gran parte.
I was born in Callosa de Segura, Alicante. I studied Fine Art at the College of San Carlos de Valencia. I am currently Professor of Plastic and Visual Education.
