Artwork description

Altura: 100 cm.
Diametro: 70 cm.
Materiales: Carrizo, rama trenzada natural, plumas (avestruz y pavo), ramas de membrillo y raíz, pieles de serpiente (chirrionera y alicante), listones (verde, blanco, rojo, azul y negro), lazo de ixtle, cáñamo natural, cubeta de metal galvanizado, huaraches con suela de llanta, corazón de cantera verde, piedra bruta de obsidiana.

Artist information

Juan Antonio Vzquez, born in Apaseo Alto, estudila veterinary career at the University of Aguascalientes, but always had an internal concern for art. Comenzesculpiendo as a hobby, just to satisfy their concerns. However, in 1998, an artist friend suggested he display his work. His first exhibition was at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Guanajuato. A date has mounted 61 exhibitions and has participated in over 200 collective.
