(Homenaje al accidente de trabajo)
Estuvo pintando afuera
y se olvidó de guardar
al lienzo que estaba fresco
y el rocío lo fue a mojar.
La pintura corrió tranquila
cual río fuera de caudal,
se hicieron grandes las formas;
se quiso el lienzo enojar.
Más al fin pudo secarlo
y acariciarlo hasta alegrar,
para que irradiando una sonrisa
se le permitiera mostrar.
La gente miró tranquila
sin llegar a pensar
que lo que el pintor mostraba
no era lo que quiso pintar.
