Esta obra hace enfásis en la actitud violenta que ha tenido el serhumao a través de la historia, contando de izquierda a derecha la evolución para la guerra hasta desembocar en lo mas catastrófico para el planeta: las armas de destruccion masiva y planetaria que tienen su expresión más álgida con la bomba átomica sobre Japón. El interés es despertar la conciencia enelinterlocutor de la necesidad de crear conciencia de mundos pacificos. La pintura muestra en su esquina derecha inferior la conciencia herida del autor por una comun unidad para la guerra en la que interviene el poder religioso no precisamente para pacificar, sino para aumentar el espiritu belico del hombre. Esta afirmacion se encuentra expresada en el centro de la pintura con la figura del Pantocrator o Jesus de poder de la edad media.

Artist information

Born in a village in the Andean mountains of Colombia, known Sasaima the Cundinamarca region, west, in the year 1964. Peasant's son from the same place her mother and father of Boavita, Boyacá. His inclination for art have roots in his father's mandolin self-taught musician, poet and painter in his last months of life.
