Self-taught artist and painter style similar to Impressionism. Associate Partnership Basque Watercolors, and Biscayne Art Association, where he teaches painting and drawing workshop.
Born in Oviedo in 1938 and since that year living in Bilbao.
Since childhood has always been easy for the drawing. At 20 he painted his first oil paintings with José Lorenzo SOLIS. Only one year remains in their classes, because it leaves aside and saved this artistic activity due to lack of time (work, love and practice of climbing), but still doing drawings and some sporadic oil reproduction (mainly Sorolla).
In 1994 he wound his early retirement at work, and had to clear that you were going to spend.
Until 1999, attending life drawing classes at the Museum of Bilbao Reproductions (Manuel Balsa \"The Russian\"), Oil on Workshops Municipal de Bilbao (Juan Carlos Román, Chelo Matesanz, and Juan Carlos Lucarini), watercolor on Watercolors Partnership Basque (Juan Antonio Uriarte). An engraving workshop at the Museum of Modern Art in Bilbao, and finally with the artist Richard Perez Franco.
Participate in some areas Painting Contests regional and state, getting in the last ten years the following Awards and Prizes: First Five Eight Seconds, three Third, three runners, two Honorable Mentions, and three Special Mentions and Finalist and Selected in other competitions.
Solo exhibitions in Bilbao, San Sebastian, Santander, Vitoria, Barakaldo, Sestao, Castro Urdiales, Santurce, Getxo, Zalla, participating in over 60 exhibitions in Spain and one in Cremona (Italy)
His works exist in Banco Hispano in San Sebastian, Town of Castro Urdiales, Real Racing Club Santander, Gran Casino del Sardinero-Santander, Town of Urduliz and Zamudio, Real Club Nautico Laredo.and Social Center of the Navy Ferrol :
