About the Artist…




Colombia (1960- )




Ricardo started painting as a hobby. Later in life he pursuit Architecture as his career, which along with continuing education art courses have helped him develop manual dexterity and dimensional perception skills.



Even though the artist has grown to be a successful architect he has kept his love for art alive by dedicating most of his time to painting.



In North America Ricardo has dedicated all his time to the production of new art pieces. His collections talk about geometries, virtual grids (highly influenced by his architectural background) focusing on abstract and contemporary art. He mixes real objects in imaginary environments that contemplate volumes or ethereal backgrounds, with varied topics that include human figure, animals or still life. Bright colors and textures fill up the canvases of his work.



He enjoys art but the real joy comes when a piece of his work inspires feelings memories or emotions in the viewer. The artist hopes to evoke on you some of the feeling he has put into his work.
