Rodolfo Morales was born on May 8, 1925 in Ocotln, Oaxaca. At 23 years he moved to Mexico City and months later he joined the National School of Plastic Arts of San Carlos. Between 1953 and 1985 he worked as a teacher in high school drawing 5, where he painted a mural (1962). A tireless traveler, touring Europe, Latin America and United States. 1985 to organize a lodge at the home of the sculptor Gels Cabrera, turns to his collages by way of decoration. Excited by these wallpapers, Gels barter offers the painter: a sculpture in exchange for a collage. This sort of recognition encourages Morales, who Shortly thereafter decided to dedicate all his efforts to paint.
