Leilani González was born on March 1 in the Republic of Panamá.


When she finished her high school at Instituto Panamericano (Panamerican Institute) in 1999 and got her Marketing and Publicity degree at Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnología in Panama City, she continued her artistic practices and, in 2006, reinforces her talent with Painting and Drawing lessons at Ganexa-Art University, for a couple of months.

Since her early ages she had the talent and felt attraction for art and painting that were developed in her childhood and youth as a hobby. After several years of creating a balance between her office job and art practices, in 2007, Leilani decides to transition from her role as Corporate Communications and Government Relations Assistant, in an international company, to Artist and Designer of Lei. Art from Heaven to Earth, certified by the Panamanian Ministry of Commerce and Industry and dedicated to fulfill her heart's wishes of creating and innovating with a profession that allowed her to be more connected with what she truly loves: nature and art.

The Lei. Art from Heaven to Earth brand comes from the designer's name that means "flower from heaven" in Hawaiian dialect. Her designs are inspired in the natural beauty that surrounds our daily life. Each of her UNIQUE pieces are bearers of art, product of hours and days of crafting. For the hand painted pendant, Leilani works with natural materials such as: sea shells, exotic seeds, wood and others. She compliments them with an original combination of weaves, semi precious stones, crystals, fresh water pearls and different materials.

"Each design is created for someone special that will feel identified with its unique features. Without this person, my work -which I consider a blessing and a mission to serve others- is not complete. This is why I feel very happy when both parts; my designs and my customers, find their other half in each other!", says Leilani.


To conclude this brief introduction to her artistic philosophy, Leilani shares a special message with you: "Learn to identify and dare to follow your heart's wishes. When we want something with love and determination, its because it is (or leads us to) our mission in life."
