Training will take place at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando from 1949 to 1954 and coincides allcon Antonio López, Julio López Hernandez, Amalia Avia, with whom he married in 1960. They are the representatives of realism Madrileo. He travels to Paris in 1956, knows the work of Dubuffet and Art and the trend Tpies Autre, resulting in l the interest in the abstraction. As of the beginning realistic, evolving towards informality, replaced the canvas for the utilization of wood, paper burning and waste materials resulting idneos for expressionist trends and raises a category of art works relief, such as green and black structure (1961). In 1962 made a large mural for the apse of the basilica of Arnzazu (Navarra). Subsequently his work has passed through a stage more realistic by 1968, the dedication to printmaking and from the eighties, a return to the utilization of wood in most serene landscapes where dominated by monochrome. Since the sixties his work is exhibited in major exhibitions certmenes and international character. In 1999 takes place the first major retrospective exhibition of his work in Madrid (Santander Central Exhibition Hall Hispanic).
