From Altamira on, the color and shape have been the mainstay of the plastic composition, although, centuries-have been used by various companions to arrive at their destination. Various perspectives, complicated foreshortening, fillings, glazes and fine matéricos were slowly coating of glitter to the visual arts, to almost forget the brutal impact means the direct contact with the color and shape. However, in this coming and going of things, time and technology, art those magical elves have reappeared, and it is in those times when they and only they are the protagonists of the building, scaring off any remote possibility the ancestral chain of plastic links again lost. Gastón Izaguirre's work is powerful and vital, subtle yet explicit, explodes in a visual overflow is none other than the realm of these distant masters art, which are fine insight to delineate the boundaries of figurative intention. Diego Nessi

He was born on May 22, 1972 in Mercedes (Soriano). He studied at the School Advertising Pedro Figari, painting in the House of Culture of Mercedes and Montevideo in several workshops, including that of Angel Cruz and Romulo Javier Aguerre. It also makes ceramics and sculpture Keramikos. In 1991 he began his activity as a graphic designer in the Art Department Advertising Capurro. Then he joins the staff of BBDO Branding, where he soon comes to occupy the post of Director of Arts, which plays today.
