Finalist in the Competition III "Perspectives of Latin America."

Finalist in the Eighth Biennial Rafael Alberola, Novelda (Alicante).

Exhibition at the Art Fair "Art-Innsbruck, Austria.

Selected in American Prints "Supermarket Art ", with great success and over 50% of works sold.

III Exhibition "Art al Carrer" Petrer Old Town, with an attendance of 1,000 visitors during the weekend of accomplishment.

Exhibition at the Casino de Elda, organized by the Provincial Council of Alicante, with over 70% of works sold.

ARTISTIC:

Juan Javier works are characterized by the use of a set of techniques aimed at recycling waste and reintroduce them back into the cycle from production.

In the beginning, the works were composed in relief, combining painting materials such as ropes, bags and putty.

In recent years, he has specialized in a mixed technique, performed on a lightweight wooden frame, which combines painting with veneer, using recycled materials (tin cans) and new material.

The inspiration of his work is devoted reproduce works of artists like Velázquez and Picasso, through the technique of painting and tin (thin plate of mild steel, coated with tin on both sides) and own design work and high Originality: fish, shoes, abstract and figurative representations of the main streets of New York or elements symbolic.
