The Museo Picasso Málaga (Spain) opens to the public the room Picasso viewed by Otero, which displays a selection of 64 photographic images produced by Roberto Otero, an exceptional document of the last years of Pablo Picasso's life.
This selections, which belongs to the museum, features the daily life of the artist and his immediate environment, his family, friends and acquaintances. The extension of the photographic collection of Roberto Otero (Trenque Lauquen, Buenos Aires, 1931-Palma de Mallorca, 2004) makes an important documentary record of the last years of the life of Pablo Picasso, spent in the South of France.
The images comprised in the selection emphasizes the particularity of Otero as a photographer, marked by a slow work pace and a narrative reading of the moment.
